International festivals that you can enjoy in Edmonton, Alberta this summer

Edmonton is known as a “Festival City” because it hosts so many celebrations and special events throughout the year.

In fact, did you know that National Geographic recently named Edmonton one of one of the world’s Best Summer Trips 2015? Edmonton was listed along with world-famous destinations such as Machu Picchu.  One of the reasons for this honour is that Edmonton hosts so many great festivals.

There will be many festivals in Edmonton this year, but here are 5 international festivals that are bringing the world to Edmonton this summer:

1. Edmonton Folk Music Festival (August 6 - 9, 2015)
